our summer vacaion
Nan and I had a very fun summer from going to Disney World, Spending time with my family , My dad going to Canada for 10 days and especially my GREAT GREAT grandma is moving 1 mile from are house so we are very excited for that this week and school starts the 12th .

The Block Party
Last night we went to a block party. We got to do the jupiter jumps and horse rides ,face paintings ,we made braclets sand things and we got to watch Nan's bite size brodway teacher sing with her 918 band. We had a great time.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today is our first real day of summer vacation. Usually we get bored when we are home all day, but we are working really hard to keep busy....and not spend too much money!
Today we went to the library to get some books. Nan got the book "Flap Your Wings" by Dr. Seuss. So now that she has finished it, I have asked her to give me a review of the book.
A boy found the egg and saw the nest in the tree then Mr. & Mrs.Bird came back and saw the egg in there nest. Then they took turns sitting on the egg then the egg started to crack. Mr. & Mrs.Bird thought the egg that cracked was a bird but it was really a alligator they named it Junior. Then they fed it 2 worms, 1butterfly, 2cherries, 1spider, caterpillars, mosquitoes, dragonflies, ladybugs, tiger beetles, crickets, red ants, black ants, and centipedes too. He never stopped eating and he got bigger and bigger and bigger. Then Mrs.bird tried to teach him to fly he tried to fly but he did for a second bud then he fell in the water splash. The water was nice and cool for Junior. Then Mrs. Bird finally thought that Junior wasn't a bird but didn't care as long as he was happy.

I really liked the book it was very suprising when the egg was an alligator and not a bird. I also think it was neat because the birds didn't care that Junior was different from them, they took care of him anyway.
